
James M. Gollihugh, Managing Director (CEO) and founder of MRCworldwide, a merchant bank and M&A Advisory firm based in Southern California. Mr. Gollihugh is a former Officer and Director of the International Network of M&A Partners (IMAP), former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, past director and officer of the Association for Corporate Growth and is currently a major shareholder and director of a number of other organizations and corporations.
Mr. Gollihugh has 36 years of financial and business experience structuring and negotiating private equity investments. During the past 35 years, Mr. Gollihugh has managed hundreds of merger and acquisition transactions ranging from major joint ventures to advising corporations on financial and strategic acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to founding MRCworldwide, Mr. Gollihugh was CEO of a consulting firm specializing in start-ups of world class Pulp and Paper Mills. Mr. Gollihugh has a broad background including Controllership responsibilities for two Fortune 500 Corporations (Mead Corporation and Avon Products) and CEO/Owner/Major Shareholder of several middle market firms.
Mr. Gollihugh has led a number of successful investments in the finance, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunications and information technology industries. Mr. Gollihugh also served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Gollihugh is a graduate of the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Economics, M.B.A. from the Xavier University Graduate School of Business, attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and is a Certified Public Accountant and a California Real Estate Broker. Mr. Gollihugh is a registered representative and is licensed to deal in securities (series 79 and 63) relating to business transfer sales, investment banking, and corporate finance.
